Drier air arrives after days of flooding, with a few showers possible Saturday

20+ inchesof rain fell on Riviera Beach from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2

Riviera Beach received more than 20 inches of rain, trapping residents and stranding cars.

If you've been waiting on a dry day, this weekend is it. The storm system that dumped rain on Palm Beach County from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 has moved away, and The Palm Beach Post says drier air is bringing mostly sunny skies for the weekend.

A cool front will push through Saturday with a chance for a few showers, and WFLX says rain totals should stay under 1/4 of an inch. Sunday looks mainly sunny and great. We'd still stay off flooded roads, since WFLX says major flooding is still affecting areas across Palm Beach County.
